Wrench Wars Star Brother JD to Appear at Bad Dog Tools Booth at SEMA

Equally talented plucking the strings of a bass, tinkering under the hood, or welding sheet metal, for Brother JD, star of “Turn & Burn”, “Garage Dreams” and “Wrench Wars,” music and drivin’ machines go hand-in-hand.

Already a successful musician with a passion for cars, since arriving in Los Angeles in a fat-tire, blacked-out Olds hardtop with a 455 under the hood, Brother JD has made a career of customizing cars in his signature Hillbilly-Hoodrat style.
Now in its third season, the car-build competition show “Wrench Wars” takes host Brother JD back to where it all began for him – the backyard.

“I knew back then and to this very day, there are thousands of people just like me that build killer rides on tight budgets right from their own homes,” he says. “I firmly believe that true artistic innovation happens in the backyards of America with these home built custom machines.” With his outsize personality and passion for all things car, Brother JD pushes contestants to their limits through three rounds of challenges for bragging rights, prizes, and a donation to their favorite charity.

Meet Brother JD at SEMA at the Bad Dog Tools booth #10560 on Tuesday, October 30; Wednesday, October 31; and Thursday, November 1. He’ll be in the booth signing autographs and tellin’ stories from 2:30pm – 4:30pm each day.
